Advertise Online to Get Qualified Leads

Online advertising, primarily through ‘pay-per-click’(PPC) advertising, is a proven method for harvesting qualified prospects for your products or services.

The downside is the vast increase in the cost of PPC advertising as your competition continually bids up prices of the ads in your market.  It's very easy to spend a lot of money on advertising and get very little out of it.

PPC advertising is not for the faint of heart or those who don't fully understand how to effectively use it. It requires a combination of continual data analysis.

A proper PPC program requires considerable setup and thorough keyword search term analysis.  You must have a tracking system in place so that every keyword you advertise for can be tracked.  You will need to structure your campaigns in such a way that you can separate the performing keywords from the under-performing keywords.

You must also create compelling ad copy in your ads in order to get people to click through to your site or your offer.

Your goal is to maximize the number and percentage of ‘click throughs’ to your site relative to the number of ad impressions. If you fail in this effort, two adverse things can happen:

  • you get less traffic
  • you risk that Google will increase your ad rates

You will also want to be careful about the misformation and misunderstandings about PPC that are widely circulated. For example, you may have heard that you can reduce your ad costs by bidding a lower price for your ads and taking a lower ad position in the search listing. This is a myth. If you adopt this strategy, you're likely to be disappointed with the results.

There are other advertising strategies besides pay-per-click hat may be effective for you. Banner advertising and advertising in e-zines are two examples. Advertorials and syndicated content, such as articles or videos, are other online promotional strategies that are not strictly "advertising" but closely related to it.

Online advertising is something that you may not have the time and expertise to do yourself. Our team will work with you to implement a successful online advertising program.
